You need quick relief and reliable solutions when you or a loved one has a tooth emergency. At Pradera Dental, we understand this, and Dr. Carly Shrade and her team leave time in their daily schedule to accommodate emergency patients. We provide same-day treatment whenever possible so you can feel comfortable again and return to your normal daily activities.

Here's more information about the dental emergencies we help patients with and what to do until you can get to your emergency dentist in Sterling.

#1 Broken or Chipped Teeth

Whether your tooth is broken or just chipped, it could cause sensitivity or irritate your gums. Contact our dental office so we can assess your condition over the phone and determine if you need immediate attention.

#2 Toothaches and Dental Pain

A toothache that is severe enough to keep you from your normal daily activities should be addressed as soon as possible because it's likely indicative of a tooth infection. Without treatment, tooth infections don't resolve, will progressively worsen, and can result in further damage to neighboring teeth.

Root canal treatment can eliminate your infection and alleviate your pain while also preserving your natural tooth.

#3 Knocked-Out (Avulsed) Teeth

A knocked-out or dislodged tooth needs immediate attention to give us the best chance of saving it. Contact our dental office right away and transport your tooth carefully. Place it back into its socket if you can. If not, use milk or saliva to keep it moist during transport.

#4 Lost or Broken Restorations

Losing a crown or filling can cause tooth sensitivity and difficulty chewing. We'll need to repair or replace your lost restoration to return function and aesthetics to your smile.

#5 Cracked or Broken Dentures

Contact Pradera Dental right away if you crack, break, or lose your denture, and we'll coordinate a time with our dental lab to repair your appliance so you don't have to live without your teeth.
